How we use tools, and who signs off
We use established security platforms and analysis tools, including AI-assisted tools, to review settings and alerts more thoroughly. Tools help us find and organize issues. People decide what they mean and what to do about them.
A member of our team reviews every finding and recommendation before it reaches you. We make changes in your environment only with your authorization, through the change process we agree with you. Some security platforms can take automatic protective steps, such as quarantining a malicious email. We turn those on only when you have approved them in writing.

What is the difference between Tecnico Ready, Tecnico Defend, and Tecnico Manage?
Tecnico Ready is a one-time review that shows where you stand and what to fix first. Tecnico Defend is ongoing managed security once your baseline is in place. Tecnico Manage is day-to-day IT support. Tecnico SecureOps combines Defend Complete and Manage.
Do we have to replace our current IT provider?
No. We can work alongside an internal IT person or an existing provider. We can handle security while they keep day-to-day support, or take on both. There is no pressure to switch providers.
What does it cost to get started?
The Security Fit Call is free. A Tecnico Ready review starts at $2,500 as a one-time fee. Final pricing depends on users, devices, platforms, and scope, and we scope it with you before any work starts.
Do you use AI with our information?
We use approved AI-assisted tools to help with analysis, documentation, and reporting, under our AI Usage Policy. We limit what information is used, we do not enter passwords or secrets into AI chat tools, and a person on our team reviews the output before it reaches you. AI tools do not make changes in your environment on their own.
Do you offer penetration testing or incident response?
Penetration testing and forensic investigation are not part of our standard services. Tecnico Defend includes incident triage and an escalation workflow, so you know who to call first. Forensic and legal breach work is handled by specialist firms, often arranged through your cyber insurer.
Does Tecnico Desk guarantee breach prevention?
No. No provider can guarantee breach prevention. Tecnico Desk helps reduce risk, improve visibility, strengthen controls, and prepare practical response workflows.
